This book is very inspiring. It mostly is just short stories of races that he has done over the years. I love the early stories of how his first 50 mile and 100 mile race. It seems like a lot and but to anyone who hasn’t run ten or more miles running past the point where your legs can’t carry you anymore is a whole different ballgame. I just ran my first marathon finishing back at my apartment with 27 miles. I can see myself pushing out to 50 miles but to hear how Dean is now running across America about 50 miles a day is insane. He is a testament to how much running the human body can handle. I still am encourage when people say that running is bad for me. I would recommend this book to anyone. It is an inspiring read also you can get it on Amazon for pretty cheap.
